There were rumours in 2013 that HTC would launch a Windows Phone version of its flagship model HTC One. That didn’t happen which disappointed many potential buyers who would love to see a real high-end model running Microsoft’s OS. HTC officials have recently commented that Microsoft is still a valuable partner so there are real chances to see new HTC models with Windows.

According to @evleaks, a new Windows Phone 8.1 model is already in the works. Named HTC W8, it is expected to be a Windows-powered version of the HTC One M8 while Verizon Wireless will be the first carrier to offer the flagship.

A new HTC smartohone with high-end specs, aluminium body and WP8.1 would definitely help the mobile platform grow and gain new supporters around the globe. See how WP8.1 would look on HTC One M8..
