Groove Music updated with many improvements for Windows 10 Insiders
Groove Music now becomes a true universal application
Microsoft has rolled out an update to the Groove Music app bringing with it many improvements and bug fixes. The updated media player is currently available only for PC and Mobile Insiders who are on the Fast and Slow Rings, as well as devices on the Release Preview.
Version 3.6.1886.0 should also be released to the general public sometime in the near future.
What’s new:
- Unplayable tracks are grayed out and skipped without an error
- Xbox Live dependence has been removed – an Xbox account is no longer needed
- You will see Unknown artists less often because in improvements in metadata
- ”Songs view” while browsing artists
- Radio stations can be sorted
- Size of the collection at the top
- The background art fills the screen
- You can ‘Refine’ collections by selecting the source
- Reset the cloud collection if something goes wrong
- lockscreen setting for Continuum
- many bug fixes
