Update: Microsoft announced that golden Lumia 930 and 830 will be available in black or white in Europe, Middle East, Africa, and China. Nokia Lumia 930 with a gold finish goes on sale this week, while the Lumia 830 will be available in February. Availability and prices will vary by country.

Microsoft is launching a limited golden edition of the Nokia Lumia 930 in China. Nokia Lumia 930 Golden Collector’s Edition will cost $466 or 394EUR, sold exclusively through Microsoft Store China. Rumor has it that the Lumia 830 will also get a golden edition, but we are not able to confirm this information.

Golden finish for the aluminum sides, gold plated Nokia logo, and the fact that Lumia 930 is the last Nokia flagship before leaving the smartphone market after the Microsoft deal, will make this variant very special. As this is a limited edition, there is no guarantee how long the supplies will last, but if you among the first to order there are some free bonuses – a Car charger, Nokia DT900 wireless charging plate and more.

This golden edition will have the same specs as the regular Lumia 930 version – a 5-inch screen (full HD), quad-core Snapdragon 800 with 2GB, and excellent PureView camera. It will ship with the Lumia Denim update pre-loaded.
