Home Automation is one of the latest and promising trends in the tech world and now all Windows Phone users can try two products developed by Netatmo – thermostat and weather station. These two products are accompanied by apps that let users control and monitor the systems, and you can grab these apps directly from the Store while the products itself are available through company’s online store.

The Personal Weather Station costs 169 EUR. It lets you measure temperature, humidity, pressure, air quality, and CO2. All relevant information is displayed on your Windows Phone through the special Netatmo app, and you can upload weather data to the cloud for further viewing, using your personal account. Another cool functionality is ‘smart alerts’ – you set peak levels for certain values (temperature, CO2, ect.) and the app will alert you once these pre-defined values are reached. In addition, the app provides weather forecast for the next 7 days, based on your current location.

The thermostat and its app give you control over the heating system at home. Users can change and monitor current temperature and energy usage, decrease energy bills by 25% and analyze trends and statistics about energy usage. The price of the Netatmo thermostat is 179 EUR.
