Facebook Beta and Messenger updated with new features
Video & Audio calls coming to Windows PC
Facebook rolled out new updates to the Messenger and the Facebook Beta app. The update for Messenger brings voice and video calls to Windows 10, but only to PCs. After the update, Messenger would finally allow users to make cross-platform calls to people who have Facebook accounts. Unfortunately, the Social media giant has not commented on when the voice & video calls will be coming to Windows 10 Mobile.
Meanwhile, there is also a new update for the Facebook Beta app for mobile phones. It brings the app to version 69.652.55681.0, and introduces some new features. With the new version you can play videos in landscape mode; post stickers; and hear sounds of likes and reactions. Performance improvements have also been made.
