Create a 360 panorama with Photosynth

a panorama created by Photosynth
Michael

Photosynth is a panorama app that allows you to capture beautiful scenes at 360 degrees horizontally and vertically, creating a full photo sphere. The app is simple but effective – you just move the camera around in order to cover all areas from the scene. Then all individual pictures are automatically aligned and stitched together … and that’s it – you have a perfect 360 panorama.

The panorama is uploaded to a special community website, where you can explore thousands of Photosynth captured around you and getting inspired by other users. The app is integrated with Bing, so your panoramas can be seen on Bing Maps and Bing search. You can also share them via popular social network.

The app integrates with camera lens, so it can be launched directly from the default camera app. There are different built-in camera controls allowing you to adjust exposure and while balance.

Developed by Microsoft Research, the Photosynth is available for PC, iOS and Windows Phone. It requires at least 512 MB RAM to work, plus a smartphone running Windows Phone 8 or 8.1. Download Photosynth from the link below.
