Users can now use digital zoom and choose resolution

Version 2.5 of the popular office tool for scanning and saving documents is now available in the Store for devices running Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile.

The new version of CamScanner includes some handy new features like the ability to manually choose the scanning resolution. Users can also use digital zoom while scanning documents – via swipe up/down.

CamScanner also has Cortana support in English and Chinese Mandarin to launch the app, open specific documents or search by keywords.

The other new features are:

• QR code scanning feature
• Option to sign in to the web app by scanning QR code with CamScanner app
• Option to set app protection password (in settings)
