Bing music matching service arrives in 14 new countries
Microsoft has announced that it is expanding the audio music matching service of Windows Phone to new 14 countries. This service is a nice alternative to apps like Shazam and SoundHound that is embedded into the Microsoft`s operating system.
Now users from the following countries get a chance to try it: Austria, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Denmark, Finland, Ireland, Mexico, Norway, Netherlands, New Zealand, Portugal, Switzerland, and Sweden. The service is already available in Australia, Canada, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the U.S., and the U.K.
When you hear a song that you want to identify just hit the Search button, and then hit the music note icon. There is an option to see a song which Bing Audio has identified in the past. To do so, you have to hit the Search button, and then hit open the More menu. The convenience here is that once you have identified a song, you can play it instantly via Xbox Music.
