Another leaked photo of Microsoft Lumia 550
Lumia 550 may include a front-facing flash
Microsoft Lumia 550, codenamed Saimaa, is expected to become official sometime next week, but we’ve already seen a couple of leaks showing Microsoft’s new low-end warrior.
The new render comes from the notorious leaker Evan Blass via Twitter. We can see a traditional Lumia design that includes a body made of polycarbonate and a removable back. The phone looks quite similar to the Lumia 640, but on the inside is different.
There has been no confirmation yet about the phone’s hardware, but earlier reports talked about a 4.7-inch or a 5-inch AMOLED screen with a 1280 x 720p resolution. The phone will likely include LTE support, a low-end Qualcomm processor (it could be the Snapdragon 210) and may even have a front-facing flash. Of course, the operating system is Windows 10. The expected price is around 120$ /120 EUR in Europe.
Lumia 550 may be presented at the event next week, along with Surface Pro 4, Microsoft Band and the flagship Lumia phones.
