Amazon’s web-app gets some new features.

Amazon has obviously heard the negative feedback after the company replaced their native Windows app with a simpler web-wrapper. In a rare update in the Store, Amazon introduces a “Chasable” Live Tile for its Windows 10 app, which means you can now go straight to the advertised product if you click on the Tile.

It’s also appearent that the Amazon app now supports playing videos. Prior to this update, the app would take you to the browser if you tap the ‘play’ button.

Despite the update, Amazon remains a pretty basic app with limited functionality. It’s basically the website + Chasable Live Tile, which means you have no reason to install it on a PC or Phone. But if you want, here is the download link in the Microsoft Store.
