Alcatel Idol 4S comes to T-Mobile this month: full specs and price
The IDOL 4S to offer attractive specs and a VR headset
It appears Alcatel and T-Mobile will announce the high-end Windows 10 phone very soon. The full specs, retail box photos, and the retail price of the phone, have already leaked onto the Internet, along with the possible launch date – November 10.
Windows Central informs that the Alcatel IDOL 4S with Windows 10 Mobile may go on sale on November 10 for $470. We also learn that the phone will include a VR headset in the box, pre-loaded Virtual Reality apps, and even a dedicated camera button. That would make the Idol 4S a very consumer-oriented flagship phone, unlike the Elite x3 which targets mostly business consumers.
Alcatel IDOL 4S boasts a 5.5-inch Full HD display, quad-core Snapdragon 820 processor, 4 GB RAM, 64 GB of storage, and even a microSD slot. The phone has two cameras – 21-megapixel on the back and 8MP FF. It is powered by a 3000 mAh battery, has a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello, Continuum support, dual-speakers with Hi-Fi surround, HD voice and LTE support.
Microsoft recently announced that many manufacturers will launch affordable Virtual reality headsets in 2017. Alcatel’s VR gear will be the first ever designed for a Windows Phone, so we are quite impatient to learn what apps and features Microsoft and Alcatel has cooked up.
