The Instagram app updated to version 5.6

Instagram recently announced support for non-square image formats – landscape and portrait. While Instagram is not updating its Windows Phone app, most of the users have found a much better alternative – 6tag.

The Instagram client just got an update to version 5.6 that adds support for portrait and landscape picture formats. Along with the new image formats, 6tag got three new filters – Clarendon, Gingham and Moon. Users can also tap and hold on a photo to quickly compare with and without filter.
