Yezz to release the 5-inch Monaco 50 with Windows 10
Yezz Monaco 50 seen in Barcelona
Yezz is a small but quite popular manufacturer of low-end / mid-range Android and Windows devices and now modules for Google’s project ARA. Most of the Yezz-branded smartphones are being sold in the US, Latin American and Europe through online retailers.
The Miami based company has its presence in Barcelona where visitors can see some of the latest Yezz products including a smartphone that will launch with Windows 10 later this year. Named Yezz Monaco 50, it features a 5-inch HD screen and a Snapdragon 400 processor with LTE and 1 GB of RAM. Other specs are 8 Gigs of storage, MicroSD slot and duo cameras – 13-Mpix on the back and a 5-MP front-facing shooter.
The demo unit demonstrated in Barcelona runs Windows Phone 8.1, but Yezz has explained that ‘Monaco 50’ will launch with Windows 10 on board this summer for the price of EUR 249 or $279 USD. Two additional back covers and a flip case will be included in the box.
