Yezz Billy 5S LTE comes with 13MP rear and 5MP front camera
The phone uses the new Snapdragon 410 processor
Yezz Mobile is expanding its Windows Phone line-up with a 5-inch LTE capable smartphone named Yezz Billy 5S LTE. After releasing two smartphones in 2014 (Billy 4.0 and Billy 4.7) in the US, Latin America and Europe, the American based company announced at CES a quite interesting new model based on the Snapdragon 410 processor with LTE support.
Billy 5S LTE looks slim (around 8mm), with a nice design of the back case and relatively solid specs for a mid-range device. It has a 5-inch display with an HD resolution, the new Snapdragon 410 processor with new Adreno 306 Graphics and 1 GB of RAM. Other interesting features are the 13MP backside camera and the 5-megapixel front camera, dual SIM, and LTE support. The Billy 5S LTE is loaded with 8 Gigs of internal memory, but there is a microSD slot for expansion.
Overall, the new Yezz smartphone looks like a decent alternative to the mid-range Lumia smartphones thanks to its new processor with LTE support, slim body, and good cameras. Official pricing and availability details are yet to be announced. Yezz Billy 5S LTE should be released around Q2/Q3 2015 but a fully working prototype has been demonstrated at CES in Las Vegas.
