Mi Pad running Windows 10 is set to launch this quarter

A Chinese source reveals that Xiaomi is preparing the launch of a Windows 10 tablet in Q3 2015, which means we should see the device by the end of September.

The Chinese giant is already partnering with Microsoft around the Mi 4 smartphone running Windows 10 Mobile and Redmond announced that the pilot program will expand to more Xiaomi phones in the coming weeks.

Xiaomi’s latest tablet model was the Mi Pad running Android, presented in March 2014. Since then the manufacturer hasn’t launched new tablets, but recently made a statement that it is not giving up on the market.

Details around the upcoming Windows –powered Xiaomi are yet unknown, but they should soon start leaking as we move toward the end of Q3.
