WMPoweruser reports that Vodafone Australia is currently testing the 8.1 update, scheduled for release for subscribers in late May / early June. According to the software update page, Windows Phone 8.1 is being tested on four smartphones – Lumia 625, 720, 820 and Nokia Lumia 1320.

This is great news for all Nokia owners around the globe, as the update may begin rolling out earlier than it was initially believed. The update, which is currently open for developers, includes many new features and improvements such as Notification Center, Cortana voice assistant, more Live tiles on the start screen and much more.
