Windows Store updates with visual improvements for Mobile and Desktop
Microsoft improves the Windows 10 Store
Microsoft has rolled out updates to Windows Store for devices running Windows 10 operating system – Desktop and Mobile. The updates bring some visual improvements, changes in menus and performance improvements (for phones).
Windows 10 Desktop store has been updated to version 8.25.1. Most notable among the changes are more space between the main menus, removed ‘Update only on Wi-Fi button’, new taskbar icon, but there are some other minor tweaks.
The mobile Store is now on build 2015.8.25.1. The changes include new font type and size on the Home page, new Downloads and Updates section (instead of Downloads), and reposition of the ‘Check for Update’ button from top to bottom. Along with these changes, I found the updated mobile store to be a bit more responsive and faster to load.
