Windows Store gets a ‘Books’ section in Windows 10 Creators Update
E-books store coming to Windows 10
A new section for Books will be integrated into the Windows Store for both Windows 10 and Windows 10 Mobile with the Creators Update in April. The new bookstore will allow users to browse and buy books from different publishers, just like they buy apps or music albums.
According to MSPU, once purchased, the book will open with the Microsoft Edge. The software giant already integrated EPUB file support in the browser in one of the latest Insider builds. Microsoft Edge lets you customize the reading experience, change font and size, and even add bookmarks to a book you are reading.
The E-book store may debut soon for Windows Insiders. Stay tuned to Windows Phone Area for more news.
