Microsoft updates the Windows 10 Messaging app

The new version of the app (1.10.28004.0.) includes changes in Settings and a new name – Messaging + Skype, instead of Messaging.

The update brings options to enable/disable chat, read receipts and to download files automatically.

Messaging for Windows 10 devices comes with a build-in Skype integration, so you can send text, skype messages and make calls on Skype from a single app. Microsoft is pushing out regular updates to Messaging, but we still do not have some needed features like the ability to send files via Skype.
