Microsoft keeps improving its Windows 10 app

Microsoft has pushed out two updates to its universal Windows 10 app over the past couple of days. Redmond added a new option to favorites – the ability to save your car’s location, which could be very helpful in large parking areas and unknown cities.

To save your car’s location open Favorites from the main menu and click on Car → Add location. Then you will see the map with your current position. You can add a photo, a note, and even adjust the map before saving the location of the car.

The updated Window Maps app for PCs, tablets and phones now include venue maps for some major airports showing gates and terminals. Microsoft also included the ability to re-route journeys, some bug fixes and performance improvements.
