Windows Camera update brings Time Lapse icon, new shutter button and more to everyone
Camera app update for everyone on Windows 10
Microsoft has rolled out the improved camera app to everyone on Windows 10, regardless of their Insider statuses. Windows Camera v.1016.11 is now available for all Production devices, as well as Insiders on the Fast, Slow and Release Preview rings.
With this update, Microsoft adds a Time lapse icon to the main header menu, allowing you to quickly change the interval for taking photos between 2s, 5s or 10s. Pressing the settings icon (now on the top right) now instantly opens the settings on the screen, and there is a new section for time lapse.
In addition to time lapse, the new camera app comes with a more visible virtual shutter button, a re-positioned camera toggle icon and a photo review icon.
You can update the Windows Camera by going to the Store and scanning for updates.
