Extract segments and save photos from videos

Microsoft’s Photo app for Windows 10 Mobile has been updated with a new option found in the ‘Edit’ menu. You can now trim videos directly through the app by clicking on the Edit menu and selecting ‘Trim’.

Then select the start and end points of the video, and click on ‘Save a copy’ to extract that particular part of the original video. You can also extract photos – from the Edit menu, click on ‘Save photos’.

With Windows 10 Mobile, Microsoft can update key parts of the OS much faster than before – through apps downloadable from the Store. The company is constantly releasing updates that refine and improve core Windows apps for phones and PCs, and we hope that the system will be completely bug-free in time for the official update to Windows 10 Mobile starting in December.
