Bug fixes, stability improvements, and faster Camera app

Microsoft has just released a new build of Windows 10 Technical Preview for Phones to the Fast Ring. Build 10520 doesn’t introduce any new features and design changes, but includes many performance and stability improvements which should make the OS more usable for everyday use.

Here are all known changes in this version:

• Faster start-up for default Camera app (v.5.5)
• The viewfinder of the default Camera app has been fixed (but now the focus seems to be broken on my test Lumia 920)
• Flight mode is working
• Data connection can be disabled
• MMS settings fixed
• Fixes in errors while downloading additional keyboard languages

With this new build, Lumia 520 owners can again install Windows 10 Preview after Microsoft has fixed the issue while attempting to roll back to Windows Phone 8.1 through the Recovery Tool. Now, all bugs are gone and even those on lower-end devices like Lumia 520 can try Windows 10 Preview builds.

We expect the next build of Windows 10 Mobile to include Office apps. This update could be released to the Fast Ring at the end of April.
