Microsoft to release new Windows builds on Patch Tuesday

Microsoft is preparing to release a new cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile and Windows 10 PC. Build number 10586.218 has been in the internal Microsoft Ring for testing for a couple of days now, and this compilation has already appeared on the Microsoft’s update servers.

If everything is fine and this build has no bugs, we can expect the new cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile (and PC) to arrive this week, quite possibly today – Patch Tuesday.

The new cumulative update should be released to all Production devices (non-Insider phones) and those who are in the Release preview ring. This update should fix a number of small bugs found in earlier builds, and should further improve the stability of the OS.

A new Technical Preview build from the Development branch (Redstone) is also expected to arrive in the coming days. We’ve already reported about builds 14316 and higher bringing many new features in changes.
