Build 14291 released to eligible smartphones

If you are Windows Insider and have an old smartphone, you can now install Preview builds from the Redstone branch. Microsoft released Windows 10 Mobile Build 14291 to all supported phones (except Lumia 635) on the Fast Ring.

The same build was launched last week for the new models – Lumia 650, 550, 950 /XL and Xiaomi Mi 4. Here’s what’s new, fixed and some bugs.

Here is the list of all Insider phones (that can receive Redstone builds):

*Lumia 635 will be included soon

Phones not included in the list can still run Windows 10 Mobile 10586 and receive cumulative updates for some time.

The Redstone 1 Update is scheduled for late 2016. The update aims to unify OneCore and bring new features to Windows 10 devices.
