Microsoft releases the March cumulative update for Windows 10 Mobile

The new build is available for everyone on the latest version of Windows 10 Mobile – 1709. It brings all improvements from KB4088782, like security updates to Edge, Windows Kernel, Windows Shell, and other components of the operating system. With this update, Microsoft also fixed the issue with opening PDF files in the browser. Windows 10 Mobile build 15254.313 is available through Settings → Updates & Security → Windows Update.

The company is also rolling out an update to the older supported version of the mobile platform – version 1703 (Creators Update). It comes with build 15063.966.

There are several known issues with the March updates, listed in the official changelog. Photo-related apps may show an error while saving photos. Lumia Creative Studio will not show the latest photos in the gallery, and taking a screenshot may result in an error message although the photo is saved in the phone.

Microsoft is committed to support version 1709 (feature_2) of Windows 10 Mobile until late 2019.
