Windows 10 Mobile is already on 6% of all phones
New test build of Windows 10 Mobile is coming this week
AdDuplex has today published its regular monthly report about the windows phone market. There are not so many interesting graphs this time – the market has been pretty static over the last few quarters, in anticipation of new devices and Windows 10 Mobile in December.
The most interesting figure shows that Windows 10 Mobile is already running on almost 6% of all smartphones, which is pretty remarkable achievement for an unreleased software. The test Windows 10 builds have even overtaken the old Windows Phone 7.x handsets.
Meanwhile, we expect the new test build of Windows 10 to reach all Windows Insiders very soon – today or tomorrow.
Microsoft has cooked a build newer than 10575, according to Gabriel Aul. This upcoming build will be directly upgradable (without returning to Windows Phone 8.1), so anyone with a phone running Windows Phone version 8.1 or higher (W10 Mobile) will be able to install the build without hassle.
