Many improvements and new features for Slow Ring Insiders

Build 14342 for PC is now available in the Slow Ring. This build includes many new features and improvements which will see a public release with the Anniversary Update for Windows 10 in late July.

Windows 10 Insider Preview Build 14342 brings new icons and rearrangements in Settings. Apps for Websites also debuts on PC Slow Ring – this is part of a new feature that will allow you to redirect sites to open with an app instead of a browser.

Cortana has a new animation on the Lock Screen, while the buttons to narrow your searches have been moved from top to bottom.

In this build, Microsoft Edge supports Extensions downloadable from the Store. The recently installed extensions will be listed in the Start Menu. Microsoft Edge also supports real-time web notifications from certain websites. Touchscreen devices can use swipe gestures to navigate back and forth between web sites.

Skype Universal Preview has a dark theme, and the ability to switch between accounts.

Finally, you can find a new option in System > Network & internet > Status – ‘Network Reset’. It allows you to reset the network settings to the original state.
