Update available for Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile
WhatsApp has rolled out a new update to its Windows mobile app, available for both Windows Phone 8.1 and Windows 10 Mobile platforms. Update to version 2.17.252.0 introduces the ability to search for Emoji by typing a word in a search bar.
Once the user types a word in the search bar, the app will offer suggestions for emoji matching this word. This feature should be welcomed by everyone using Emoji on a daily basis.
WhatsApp for Windows supports video calling, sending and receiving GIFs, drawing on photos and other features. A new function called Recall is being tested internally and it could be released in the coming months.
Here is the download link for WhatsApp on Windows Mobile.
