WhatsApp is a very popular messaging app which has not been updated since a long time. Now, the long awaited update finally arrived in Windows Phone Store.

It has been reported that the update brings two notable changes. The first one is that the audio stream in the music control is stopped. It is a nice change since many people have been annoyed by this feature. Nevertheless, some people keep reporting that it is still available in the app even after its reinstallation. The other change is new added smileys which is a long awaited feature as well.

Unfortunately, there is no current changelog available. It is supposed to stop the audio streaming so you may install the update or do a fresh installation and share your opinion regarding these issues. You can download WhatsApp from here.
