The US carrier rolls out the Windows 10 Update to the Lumia Icon

Verizon Wireless has officially announced a software update to Windows 10 for the classic phone Nokia Lumia Icon. The Lumia Icon, a special variant of the Lumia 930 for Verizon, will start receiving the update today (June 23), according to the carrier’s support page.

Verizon Wireless is pleased to announce a new software update from Microsoft for select Windows smartphones.Windows 10 Mobile is full of new features and improvements.

To prepare your device for the update, go to the Store and download the Upgrade Advisor app. The app checks if your phone is eligible for the upgrade and lets you download and install Windows 10 Mobile. Once you’ve installed Windows 10 mobile for the first time, you don’t need the Upgrade Advisor app to install future cumulative updates and new releases.
