Updated Groove Music for phones lets you add an album to the ‘Playing Now’ queue
Microsoft releases a new version of Groove Music for Windows 10 Mobile
The company has released the new version of Groove Music for Windows 10 Mobile as an update from the Store, and it’s available for everyone outside of the Insider program. Version number 10.18011.1341.0 comes with some visible and under the hood improvements and changes. The app seems to be more reliable in finding missing album arts and metadata than before, while a new option in settings would allow you to set ‘Now Playing’ artist art as your lock screen provided that you don’t have an active lock screen application.
Another new feature for Groove on Windows 10 Mobile is the ability to add an album to your ‘Now Playing’ queue. Hold your finger over the album, tap ‘Add to’ and then ‘Now Playing’. You will add the songs from that album at the bottom of the queue.
Microsoft is probably adding an option to manage your OneDrive music from the app, but this feature is not working yet. Music Equalizers are not yet available for Groove Music on Mobile, but you can adjust them from the Settings → Extras → Equalizer.
