UK prices of Lumia 950 / 950 XL reduced before launch
Microsoft Store UK to sell the phones for £450 and £530
The new flagship smartphones go on sale in November through Microsoft Stores, carriers and retailers around the globe.
Earlier this month, Redmond announced the U.K prices of Lumia 950 and 950 XL – £470 and £580, respectively, but a few days ago, Microsoft quietly slashed the prices of both models in the UK, by £20 and £50, respectively.
Microsoft Store UK will soon start taking pre-orders for both phones at £450 and £530, but you can already register your interest over their website.
These “new” prices in the UK are very similar to those in other EU countries. Amazon.de has started taking pre-orders for Lumia 950 and 950 XL for EUR 600 and EUR 700.
The prices in the USA are $549 and $649.
Lumia 950 and 950 XL have 2560×1440 QHD displays, 20MP PureView cameras, Iris Scanner for Windows Hello, Continuum for Phones, Wireless Charging, USB Type-C ports, fast charging and 32 GB of storage. To unleash the Continuum experience, Microsoft will be selling a Display Dock that costs around $100 / EUR 100.
