Two high-end Lumia prototypes leak
Nokia McLaren and 5.2-inch Lumia with Snapdragon 810 processor
Two possibly cancelled Lumia prototypes have leaked from China – the famous Nokia McLaren with 3D touch gestures and a device that might be an early version of the Lumia 950 or Lumia 850.
Below is a video showing the cancelled McLaren in action. You can see some of the rumored 3D functionalities included in this prototype such as the ability to interact with the display without touches. Unfortunately, the video doesn’t show any other rumored features like exploding Live Tiles:
The second leak reveals a smartphone with a 5.2-inch screen, on-screen buttons and a polycarbonate body that looks like a combination between Lumia 1020 (the body) and Lumia 830 (the camera module). The prototype could be an early version of the upcoming flagship Cityman (a.k.a Lumia 950), a successor to the Lumia 830 (Lumia 850) or another unknown device. The unreleased phone reportedly has a 1080p (full HD) display and Snapdragon 810 processor.
Microsoft is likely unveiling its new line-up of Lumia phones in late September, so the mystery should be resolved soon.
