Twitter Store app for Windows 10 updated
PWA version of Twitter now autoplays videos
Twitter now relies entirely on the Progressive Web App platform to reach the Windows 10 users, instead of developing a native Windows app. Such an official native app was discontinued months ago, replaced by something like an advanced web-wrapper. Twitter PWA is still under development as it lacks many of the features available on other platform. However, the good news is that Twitter is constantly updating its Windows app. The latest update for Windows 10 introduces the ability to autoplay videos and animated GIFs.
Twitter remains fully committed to Windows 10, as the company is one of the few releasing regular improvements to its app. You can grab the new version of Twitter from the Microsoft Store. It’s only for Windows 10 PC, though.
