Twitter`s client for Windows Phone is getting a new update. Among the major new features are the lock-screen integration and a new dark theme. With the lock-screen integration tweets are showed directly on the lock screen including content, date, username, and user picture. Now you are able to choose between white and dark backdrop and the new dark theme looks pretty nice.
However, the new update offers a handful of other new improvements as well. Now you can select favorite accounts and follow them by getting notifications when they tweet. There is an option to pin keyword searches to the home screen for quicker access. A new addition is the language support for 13 additional languages. Now users are able to set their language preferences and get their tweets translated. In addition, there are improvements to Search and Discover functions making them simpler and easier to use. In general, this update is significant for an official app and brings quite useful improvements. You can download the app here.
