Twitter 5.0 becomes a true Universal Windows app
Twitter has released version 5.0 of its Windows 10 app for Desktop and Mobile. The new update adds a dark theme for Windows 10 and completely changes the Windows 10 Mobile app.
The difference between the old Windows Phone 8.1 and the Universal app is quite significant in terms of performance – the new one loads faster and resumes instantaneously.
The interface has been changed too, with a smaller pivot section, a transparent bottom command bar, and more. The app also automatically recognizes your phone’s theme – dark or white.
Twitter for Windows 10 devices allows you to express yourself with a Tweet, find people and stories around you, get breaking news by browsing hashtags, and more. Download the app from the Windows store.
