Twitter adds Tabs to its Windows 10 app
Manage multiple app windows using Tabs
Twitter is introducing an interesting new feature to its Windows 10 app. With update 5.5.1.0, Twitter UWP app for PCs and tablets allows you to create new tabs for different streams or app sections.
Tap on the ‘Plus” icon at the top right to open a new Windows and bring up profiles, settings, messages, hashtags or anything from the app in a tabbed interface. Twitter is introducing Tabs only to its Windows app for PCs and tablets, but Tabs may also be enabled for Windows 10 phones in future updates. The company has not yet announced tabs for Android or iOS.
You can hide/unhide the tabs from the menu → Me → Settings – Personalization.
In addition, the new version of Twitter introduces new Emojis, pinned tweets, number of replies displayed on each Tweet, and rich content in direct messages.
