Windows Phone users can now track packages and shipments sent through UPS as the US courier launched an official Windows Phone app that lets you manage and track your shipments on the go. With UPS Mobile each package can be pinned to the Start Screen with a Live Tile showing updated information.

Users can log in with their UPS IDs or Facebook usernames, or they skip the log in process. In addition to the main purpose – tracking, UPS Mobile for Windows Phone lets you create new shipments connected to the courier’s billing system. Furthermore, the app shows all stations around you and lets you filter Stores, delivery centres, and outlets.

UPS Mobile has a simple and straightforward user interface, with enough functionality. Of course the app has some limitations compared with the web version – for example, the app only lets you enter an email for inbound shipments, while for more settings the app redirects to the browser.

UPS Mobile for WP8.0 (8.1) is a free app, download it from the store.
