Toshiba presents the Encore 2 Write tablets with Wacom pens
8 and 10.1 inch Encore 2 Write tablets go on sale
Toshiba announced two new Windows 8.1 tablets with support for touch-sensitive pens at CES 2015. With price tags of $349 and $399 for the 8-inch and the 10.1-inch model respectively, the Encore 2 Write tablets are designed for improved productivity in every day’s life. Thanks to the latest-generation Wacom pen technology, these tablets are perfect for writing notes directly on the screen, while pre-loaded Tru suite of apps will further help in your work.
TruNote is a professional note taking app compatible with Office. TrueCapture allows you to use the 8MP camera to capture notes from books, documents and whiteboards, improve the readability and then transfer these notes to TruNote. Another exclusive app by Toshiba is TruRecorder – a special app for audio recording of lectures, conversations and more.
Both new Toshiba Encore 2 Write tablets are loaded with 64-bit quad-core Intel processor and 2 Gigs of RAM. Other features are 64Gb of internal storage, stereo speakers with Dolby Digital plus, micro HDMI, micro SD slot, and a battery for up to 11 hours. In addition, Microsoft provides a free one year subscription to Office 365 with 1TB of free storage.
Toshiba Encore 2 Write (8, and 10.1-inch version) goes on sale on January 21 at key US retailers and Microsoft Store US.
