Lumia Selfie app and Treasure Tag can now work together

If you own one of those small squared accessories you can now snap a photo using the Nokia Treasure Tag as a remote control for the Lumia Selfie app. Microsoft has just updated both applications in the Windows Phone Store so the new functionality will be enabled to work on your device as soon as you download the latest versions of both apps.

Once you’ve paired the phone with the Nokia Treasure Tag you will be able to snap a photo with the Selfie app using the button on the accessory. We guess this functionality will be made working with the Lumia Camera app in the not so distant future. The new software update of the Treasure Tag will also enable a quiet mode, while the overall performance have been improved.

Nokia Treasure Tag is a small box that is attached to your belongings so you can easily locate and find them with the special application on your Lumia smartphone. Download the Windows Phone app from the store.

Lumia Selfie is a new application for all selfie lovers. The app lets users snap a photo using both the front-facing and the rear facing camera, apply different filters and effects, and then share photos with friends, save them in the phone’s memory or upload them to the Cloud.
