Surface Pro LTE to launch as originally planned in December
Microsoft officially announced the LTE Surface Pro
At the Future Decoded conference in London, Microsoft finally announced the LTE-capable version of the Surface Pro tablet. It’s coming sometime in December, depending on the market, but only for business customers. Everyone else interested in the tablet should wait until 2018 to get the Surface Pro.
Surface Pro LTE will have two configurations at launch, both with Intel Core i5 processors, but with different amount of RAM and storage capacity – 4/8GB RAM and 128/256GB storage. The LTE chip inside by Qualcomm promises up to 450mbps speeds and support for 20 bands.
The 128GB version costs $1149 in the USA, while the 256GB Surface Pro LTE is $1449. Expect the EU prices to be significantly higher because of VAT and other taxes.
