Release candidate for the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update for Mobile is here

Microsoft is in the final stage of fixing the release candidate (RTM) for the major Windows 10 Mobile update expected this month. Windows 10 Mobile Build 15254.1 is now available to download for Insiders in both the Fast and Slow ring.

The release candidate (15254.1) includes all fixes from build 15252 but also the improvements from the October 2017 Cumulative Update with build 15063.674.

Microsoft is expected to roll out the final version of the Windows 10 Fall Creators Update on October 17, starting with PCs and build 16299.15. Supported phones may also start receiving the update (_feature2) this month once the release candidate is tested and approved.

We already reported that the current version of Windows 10 Mobile (version 1703) will be supported until June 2019, but there is no information if Microsoft will extend the support after the Fall Creators Update (version 1709).
