The app enters Preview stage for mobile, supports Continuum

Previously available only for Windows 10 PCs, the new version of the Remote Desktop Preview app adds support for smartphones running Windows 10 Mobile. The updated universal Windows app also supports Continuum for Phones, so you can use it on a full screen in Continuum mode.

Remote Desktop is still in a preview stage, but Microsoft promised to add new features and improve the app’s performance in the future.

The app allows you to connect to remote Windows PCs or resources made available to you by your admin and be productive as if these resources were running locally. The ability to use Remote Desktop for Windows 10 Mobile in Continuum mode (for Lumia 950 /XL, Acer Jade Primo, and other high-end phones) would allow you to significantly extend the phone’s capabilities and open Win32 apps on the large screen in the remote session.
