Redstone 4 officially coming in April as ‘Spring Creators Update’
Windows 10 version 1803 will be released in April
Microsoft has confirmed in its Developer blog that the Redstone 4 update for Windows 10 will be coming in April under the ‘Spring Creators Update’ name. The final release is almost here, as Microsoft is currently finalizing the release for a Spring launch, although the company is still quite busy fixing bugs and improving the performance. Windows Insiders will be able to get the official update first, before version 1803 hits the general public in April.
Official documents found in the blog (via thurrott) show that Redstone 4 will come to light in April 2018, and this version will be supported for 18 months, until October 2019. As far as the build number, the documents list 17115 as one of the candidates, but Microsoft is likely to push a newer version to the Insider channel for testing.
Windows 10 Spring Creators Update will be released only for Windows 10 PC, while the Mobile version remains on life support with security updates until late 2019.
