Popular Music apps get updates: Shazam, Xbox Music, MixRadio, Spotify
Users can now update four of the popular Music apps which are available for all phones running Windows Phone 8.1.
Media discovery service Shazam got updated to version 3.7 so users will be able to instantly identify songs around them by asking Cortana “Shazam this”. Cortana launches the app immediately and you can find out what song is playing. Additionally, there are some unspecified performance improvements in the new version. Download from here.
Windows Phone’s default Music Player updates to version 2.6.318 but Microsoft doesn’t reveal what’s new and says it is all about bug fixes. You can update by clicking here.
Spotify‘s latest version is 4.0.3 but the company hasn’t updated the changelog. A few days ago the streaming service launched officially in Canada. [download link]
Finally, former Nokia’s, and now Microsoft owned MixRadio streaming service received a minor update addressing performance issues. You can update to version 188.8.131.528 by heading to the store.
