WeChat has not yet released their UWP app for Mobile devices.

The popular messaging app from China, WeChat, no longer works on Windows Phone and Windows 10 Mobile. WeChat has apparently dropped support for their messaging app on all Windows phones without a notice, even though the new Universal WeChat app is still available only for Windows 10 PCs. The company has not shared their plans about WeChat for Windows Mobile in the future, but the app could easily be made available for small-screen devices if there are enough users.

Signing in to WeChat has been disabled for Windows phones, according to Windows Area, although the app still appears for download in the Store.

WeChat is quite popular messaging service in China, so if Microsoft wants to get back into the game in 2018, support for this app could be very important.
