Official: Windows 10 Creators Update coming on April 11
Microsoft to begin the official rollout of the Creators Update on April 11
The company today informed on its blog that the official rollout of the Creators Update for Windows 10 will start on April 11. Windows 10’s first feature update after the Anniversary release in 2016 will be available in the second Tuesday of April, which is the same day on which Microsoft usually rolls out Cumulative patches to the current branch.
Microsoft announced that the update will roll out in waves, starting from PCs, and we know that the update will come with build 15063 which is already available in the Insider program for testing. But Microsoft might have not yet selected a release candidate so we might see a zero-day patch to 15063 if there are some critical bugs in the compilation.
The Creators Update brings many new features and refinements for PC, and relatively minor enhancements for mobile phones.
