Windows Phone Area

An update of Office Lens by Microsoft has been released. It allows clients of Windows Phone to scan pictures and convert them into Word documents and Powerpoint presentations. Users of the app might know that it appeared earlier this year with the options to use your device’s camera as a scanner and store document files on OneNote. A previous update improves the scanning and storing options for the documents.

With the improvements in the new update you can convert a scanned picture into a Word document and save it in OneDrive. It could be edited as any document on your PC. Furthermore you could convert drawings on a whiteboard into a Powerpoint presentation and edit it in the same way as with a Word file.

All the text options, styles and formatting are available on the app. The same applies to the Powerpoint’s objects and drawings. Every page of text and every slide from a presentation are completely editable. According to Microsoft, everything could be resized, replaced or removed.
