The preview versions of Office 2019 will be released in Q2 2018

Microsoft has provided more details about the upcoming Office 2019. The suite of apps will officially launch late in 2018, but the preview versions will be available for testing in the second quarter of the year. Office 2019 will be Windows 10-exclusive, and the apps will be released only with Click-to-Run installation technology.

Office 2019 will include 5 years of mainstream and additional 2 years of extended support, which means the support will end in October 2025. Microsoft also announces changes in Office 365 ProPlus – the software will be supported until January 2020.

Additionally, Microsoft has extended the support for all releases of Windows 10 by six months, but only for Enterprise and Education.
